Zucchini Noodles with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Zucchini Noodles with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Pasta night, zero guilt.

Serves 2 | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 10 min

Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchinis
  • 3 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste
  • Parmesan to serve (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the noodles Using the julienne blade on your Götze 3-in-1 Professional Peeler Set, run it along the length of each zucchini to create long, thin noodles. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Make the sauce Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer 8 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Combine Toss zucchini noodles into the sauce for 1-2 minutes, just enough to warm through. Don't overcook or they'll go soft.
  4. Serve Plate immediately, top with fresh basil and a generous handful of parmesan.

Pro tip: The julienne blade gives you the thinnest, most noodle-like strips. Pull the peeler away from you in one long stroke for the best results.
